With sewn rope termination covered by a transparent protective sleeve to help protect the stitching against abrasion and the ingress of dirt. This sleeve secures a label with a unique termination number and date. A second heat shrunk label provides details of manufacturers name, rope standard, diameter, length and batch number.
Sewn terminations are much stronger than the best tied knot and far less bulky. They are not energy absorbing.
